Singita Castleton Lodge is an exclusive-use family home that was once the private residence of the Bailes family.
With its main house, communal living spaces, and accommodation located in six individual cottages within the grounds, it is ideal for special occasions, family reunions and small-group gatherings of up to 12 people.
The space captures the tranquility and old-world atmosphere of a traditional stone-walled homestead, while offering all the elegance, luxury and comfort one would expect from a modern luxury safari lodge. Many antiques and furnishings have been refashioned, adding authenticity to the living areas that extend outdoors onto covered verandas overlooking impressive lawns, an expansive swimming pool, and busy waterhole. Other facilities include a Bocce court, wine cellar, country-style kitchen and tennis court, as well as wellness facilities like a fitness centre, yoga pavilion and massage treatment rooms.
The outdoor boma offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape, which guests are invited to explore in the company of an experienced field guide and tracker.
