Situated on the banks of the Sand River, in the heart of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Londolozi Private Game Reserve has a deep, nearly-100-year history as a family-run business.
The name comes from a Zulu word meaning “Protector Of All Living Things”, and it reflects the reserve’s conservation ambitions.
Londolozi Private Granite Suites is one of a handful of Londolozi Private Game Reserve luxury camps and is the most exclusive, with only three rooms and accommodating up to six guests. Each suite has a luxurious outdoor bath and private, heated swimming pool. The suites can be booked individually or as a private camp for six guests, making it ideal for honeymooning couples or small groups celebrating special occasions.
The lodge is set low in the Sand River, giving guests an intimate insight into the secrets of African river life. It’s flanked by an extrusion of granite rocks, an effect echoed by the décor of bold materials and elephant gray palette. A sunset river bar and sunken cocktail lounge are suspended high above the river, where breeding herds of elephants are known to wander past.
Safari game drives are, of course, a signature experience at Londolozi Private Granite Suites. A wide range of options are available, from Photographic Safaris (supported by the on-site Photo Studio) and Luxury Wellness Safaris (supported by The Londolozi Healing House) to intimate Honeymoon Safaris and Luxury Family Safaris.
