MalaMala Camp
From AUD1,702 per person per night
Covering 13 300 hectares (33 000 acres) between the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and the Kruger National Park, MalaMala Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s largest private Big Five game reserves
MalaMala Camp combines luxury and comfort with unrivalled views of the Sand River and surrounding bushveld.
The lodge offers 10 luxury suites, 8 luxury rooms, and a luxury single suite, each of which has a private deck or verandah with a view over the Sand River or the waterhole. Family rooms can be configured to accommodate a third adult or two children on request, as well as a universally accessible suite.
The location is a photographer’s paradise, and the lodge enhances this by providing a dedicated field guide to assist guests through their intuitive knowledge of animal behaviour and skilled positioning of the safari game drive vehicle. Morning and evening game drives are offered, as are guided bush walks and – for those who seek some independence – exclusive-use Private Safari Vehicles.
MalaMala Camp offers a Children’s Program, facilitated by a field guide who will assess the age, enthusiasm, and independence of the children, in collaboration with the parents and guardians. Childminding services are also offered, at a nominal fee.
Children of all ages welcome.
