Inyati Game Lodge
From ZAR12,800 per person per night
Located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve’s western sector, Inyati Game Lodge offers all of the African adventure that the reserve is known for.
The lodge’s safari game drives will take you off-road, providing rare opportunities for sightings of elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, antelope and many more – all roaming freely within their own territories.
The lodge offers eight single-room Chalets and a three-roomed Family Chalet, all tastefully furnished with uninterrupted views of the African bush overlooking the Sand River. The lodge also offers a swimming pool, situated adjacent to the bar/dining area; as well as a deck overlooking the river; a fully air-conditioned gym; and a wedding/conference venue, appropriately named TreeTops, located about three kilometres from the main lodge.
But it’s the nature that makes a visit to Inyati Game Lodge so unforgettable. An armed field guide or tracker will accompany you on bush walks before or just after breakfast, where you’ll have a chance to focus on the smaller bush inhabitants, including birds, insects and butterflies. Fishing outings are also available, with fishing gear supplied by the lodge. Among the more than 37 fish species, you’ll find sharp-tooth catfish (barbel), Mozambique tilapia (bream), squeakers, tigerfish, and more.
Safari game drives traverse an area of 10 000 hectares (24 700 acres), with strict vehicle limits helping to ensure a truly exclusive game viewing experience.
